POSITION: Insurance Assistant

REPORTS TO: Individual Medicare Leader FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

ACCOUNTABLE FOR: N/A

POSITION SUMMARY

The Insurance Assistant works closely under the direction of the Individual Medicare team. This position will provide administrative support, system maintenance and scheduling on behalf of the Medicare Advisors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for answering and following up on incoming sales calls and emails from prospective customers
• Schedule calls and meetings on behalf of Medicare Advisors using Outlook and Zoom
• Provide consistent and clear communication to clients and prospects
• Enter policy data into agency management system as applicable
• Other duties as assigned to successfully complete role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong administrative skills with some office experience
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Experience with meeting technology to include Microsoft Outlook and Zoom
• Possess organizational and time management skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• In office work environment
• Requires verbal and written communication, both internally and with clients

The applicable base salary range for this role is $34,100 to $58,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
