Job Description

Invesco is seeking a collaborative, results-oriented Segment Marketer to help advance its Defined Contribution marketing priorities. With Defined Contribution as the primary focus, this role will translate business objectives into integrated marketing programs that engage institutional and intermediary audiences, elevate Invesco’s capabilities, and support business growth. The Segment Marketer will also execute defined tactical priorities for the CollegeBound 529 business, gaining broader exposure within the retirement and education savings markets.

As part of the Defined Contribution Segment Marketing team and working under the direction of the Defined Contribution Segment Marketing Manager, the Segment Marketer will collaborate with marketing specialist teams and sales partners to activate client-focused programs that connect timely insights and thought leadership with Invesco’s DC investment capabilities. These efforts will span digital, email, events, and paid, earned, and owned media, creating relevant experiences that build awareness, deepen engagement, and strengthen preference across U.S. defined contribution target audiences.

The role offers meaningful ownership of execution and exposure to strategic planning, with opportunities to activate differentiated content and tools across campaigns and client journeys, help monitor marketing analytics, and continuously improve marketing outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketer to build deep expertise in the Defined Contribution marketplace. The successful candidate will gain visibility across the organization, sharpen integrated marketing and relationship-management capabilities, and see how insight-led ideas become measurable client experiences. For a marketer who combines strategic curiosity with strong execution, the position provides a distinctive platform to demonstrate impact and grow within Invesco.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Execute integrated marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, communications, and event programming—both virtual and in person—that primarily promote Invesco’s Defined Contribution capabilities and support CollegeBound 529 tactical priorities. • Deliver consistent, high-quality marketing communications that support Defined Contribution clients and financial professionals throughout the client lifecycle. • Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Compliance, Public Relations, Creative Services, Editorial, Digital, Social Media, Events, Product, and other partners to develop and distribute marketing content across channels. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment, efficient execution, and effective delivery. • Develop sales enablement tools in collaboration with subject matter experts, translating insights and capabilities into relevant, actionable resources. • Support conference sponsorships and booth activations that deliver premium, interactive, and brand-aligned client experiences, encourage meaningful engagement, and reinforce strategic Defined Contribution messaging. • Support the execution and activation of proprietary Defined Contribution research to strengthen thought leadership and elevate Invesco’s brand. • Partner with the Insights and Analytics team to monitor and report on key performance indicators, including campaign effectiveness, lead generation, sales-tool utilization, and fulfillment of Defined Contribution and CollegeBound 529 priorities. • Ensure marketing activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal standards governing the promotion of investment products. • Maintain a working knowledge of the competitive landscape and evolving needs of Defined Contribution client segments to inform marketing decisions. • Support ad hoc marketing initiatives as needed in response to evolving business priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum of 2–5 years of financial services marketing experience. Experience with an asset manager or a background in retirement marketing a plus. • Strong digital marketing, project management, and communication skills. • Demonstrated record of coordinating and executing digital marketing activities and programs.
