Company: Marsh

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in one of our Marsh US based office listed. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to join the Social Media Center of Excellence at Marsh.

This role leads the firm’s most strategic social media portfolios, developing and delivering strategies that strengthen executive influence, elevate the Marsh brand and amplify our highest-priority business moments. Working closely with senior leaders and partners across Executive Communications, Marketing, Brand, Corporate Affairs and Talent Acquisition, you will shape how Marsh and its leaders connect with clients, colleagues and other priority audiences.

We will count on you to: • Lead Marsh’s executive social media program in close partnership with Executive Communications, Marketing, and key stakeholders to build executive presence, visibility, influence, and thought leadership across the firm. • Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for Marsh business CEOs and select Executive Committee members through a white-glove service model. • Translate business priorities and individual leadership perspectives into compelling thought leadership and platform-native storytelling. • Build editorial calendars, content plans, and activation strategies that deepen executive engagement with clients, colleagues, media, and prospective talent. • Develop scalable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that enable social media leaders across businesses and regions to activate their executives effectively. • Lead the firm’s employer brand social media strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition and the Employer Brand marketing leader. Build content strategies that showcase our culture, colleagues, and careers. • Lead social media strategy and activation for the firm’s highest-profile enterprise initiatives, partnerships, and events, including the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, Marsh Rising Professionals Forum, and Perspectives to Thrive symposium, among others. Develop integrated activation plans that connect enterprise priorities, executive participation, and audience interests before, during, and after each program.

What you need to have: • 5-7 years of experience developing and delivering social media strategies within a global B2B or professional services organization. • Proven experience leading executive social media and thought leadership programs, including working directly with senior executives. • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex business topics into compelling content and reflect the distinct voices of senior leaders. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, build trust and align priorities across a complex, matrixed organization. • Strong editorial judgment, strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, including the ability to turn performance insights into actionable recommendations.

What makes you stand out: • A track record of building executive social media programs that deliver meaningful engagement with priority audiences. • Experience shaping social media brand expression across a global organization, including developing standards, templates and playbooks that balance consistency with creative innovation. • Experience connecting executive, corporate and employer brand storytelling into coordinated enterprise programs. • Demonstrated ability to turn major partnerships and flagship events into sustained social media engagement. • Experience setting strategic direction for others and building capabilities across business and regional teams. • A strong creative perspective, with the ability to assess emerging formats and platform developments and apply them effectively in a B2B environment.

Why join our team: • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. • We offer a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact for colleagues, clients and communities. • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
