Job Summary

We're hiring a Staff Product Manager to help define and deliver Kaseya's unified Cyber Resilience platform , spanning backup, data protection, recovery, disaster recovery, and object storage across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

This role will own the product strategy and roadmap for shared capabilities that enable multiple Kaseya products to deliver consistent, scalable, and reliable data protection and cyber resilience experiences.

You will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Data, Product Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to understand customer and market needs, define platform capabilities, lead product convergence and migration, and deliver measurable improvements in protection, recovery, reliability, and adoption.

The ideal candidate brings strong Product Management fundamentals combined with experience building data protection, storage, infrastructure, enterprise IT, or closely related technical products .

What You'll Do

Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for shared Cyber Resilience platform capabilities spanning backup, recovery, data protection, and storage

Lead the consolidation and convergence of multiple products and services onto shared platform capabilities while maintaining customer continuity and operational reliability

Define customer and platform requirements across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments

Partner with Engineering and Architecture on APIs, platform architecture, integrations, reliability, scalability, security, and technical trade-offs

Translate customer, partner, support, and market feedback into prioritized product requirements and roadmap decisions

Make investment and prioritization decisions based on customer value, business impact, technical risk, operational impact, and available resources

Lead product launches, migrations, and adoption initiatives across multiple products and customer environments

Partner with Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Support, and Customer Success to support enterprise customers, communicate product value, and drive adoption

Define and monitor success metrics across platform adoption, protection coverage, reliability, recovery outcomes, usage, and customer value

Represent the platform internally and externally, building alignment around the product strategy and helping teams understand the customer and business case

Required Qualifications

5+ years of software Product Management experience owning a technical platform, infrastructure product, enterprise IT product, or data protection product

Direct Product Management experience in at least one relevant domain , such as:

Backup

Data protection

Disaster recovery

Cyber resilience

Object storage / cloud storage

Storage infrastructure

Infrastructure management

Business continuity

Closely related enterprise IT infrastructure products

Experience leading product consolidation, migration, convergence, or platform modernization across multiple products, services, or technical environments

Demonstrated ownership from customer/problem discovery through product definition, engineering delivery, launch, adoption, and post-launch measurement

Experience partnering with Engineering and Architecture on technical requirements, APIs, integrations, architecture decisions, reliability, scalability, and technical trade-offs

Experience working with enterprise customers and customer-facing teams to identify problems, validate solutions, and influence product direction

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with object storage or S3-compatible storage platforms

Experience across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments

Experience with storage concepts such as replication, retention, immutability, lifecycle management, snapshots, encryption, deduplication, or storage economics

Experience in cybersecurity, identity, governance, auditability, or compliance

Experience building shared platform services such as identity, authorization, policy, data, audit, or control-plane capabilities

Experience selling or supporting products through MSPs, channel partners, distributors, or other indirect sales models

Experience partnering closely with Sales Engineering, Product Marketing, Account Management, Support, and Customer Success

Experience incorporating AI or machine learning into enterprise infrastructure or platform products

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will help create a common platform foundation that allows Kaseya products to deliver a more consistent and scalable cyber resilience experience.

Success means reducing fragmentation across products, increasing reuse of shared platform capabilities, improving customer protection and recovery outcomes, and creating a platform that can scale across backup, data protection, recovery, and object storage use cases.
