Our 9-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2027 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime.
In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business.
Here’s the best part: crush your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!
What You’ll Do • Support firm-specific marketing campaigns, events, product launches, and materials • Help manage project timelines, recaps, action items, and next steps across multiple initiatives • Prepare presentations, summaries, campaign updates, and other materials for internal partners • Support execution processes, including compliance reviews, Aprimo workflows, and quarterly updates • Track campaign activity, results, and key learnings across the team's work • Help identify patterns and practical takeaways that can be applied across firms and future projects • Collaborate with partners across marketing, distribution, product, events, and other business functions • Use approved AI tools and existing resources to streamline manual work, support analysis, and improve team execution
What You Get • A Launchpad for Your Career – Get ready to build real skills and set yourself up for a future at Invesco (and beyond). • Your Own Mentor – You’ll be paired with a mentor who’s got your back, answers your questions, and helps you navigate your summer. • Intern Community – Join a crew of fellow interns to collaborate, share ideas, and get to know—both in and out of the office. • Pathway to Future Opportunities – Nail your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation! • Real Experience, Real Impact – Work on meaningful projects, learn from our team, and see what it’s like to work at a global investment firm.
Minimum Qualifications • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating in spring/summer of 2028 • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale • All majors are welcomed with an emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Finance, Economics, and Data Analytics. • A demonstrated interest in investments • Must be able to work in Invesco's New York City office • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT). • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.
Preferred Qualifications • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines across multiple projects • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Interest in marketing, investments, wealth management, or financial services • Comfort working with data, tracking results, and summarizing key takeaways • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with generative AI tools is helpful but not required $37/hr
